About me
I am a San Diego based artist currently focused on digital illustration and portraiture. I take imagery from my dreams, the media I consume, and my every day life to juxtapose the absurd and mundane. I let my mood and my interests guide what I in turn produce and its style. I have illustrated two published children's books, with more to come!
As a child I fully believed in magic and counted down the days until I received my Hogwarts letter! Since then I've attempted to keep that childhood wonder alive by infusing elements of magic and fantasy into my work. Like many other artists, I grew up believing that art was not a real career, and that I would never be able to sustain myself. My first years of college I majored in biology, and am still fascinated by science. But on my second year, I realized that art was my passion and my calling, and I knew that this is what I was meant to do. Thank you for your support of this dream!
